About

TWO KILLERS ARE ON A COLLISION COURSE. ONLY ONE CAN SURVIVE…

“From the heart-wrenching diagnosis to the breathtaking climax, Rebekah Riga's battle against time and terror is a testament to the human spirit.”—Amazon 5 stars

“One of us will die here tonight … and as sure as hell it won’t be me!”

Every day I work on tracking down murderers, rapists and pedophiles. Only to watch them walk away with a slap on the wrist from an ancient and crumbling justice system.

I try to push back the faces of the victims and the smug lawyers congratulating the perpetrators.

Something has to change.

A new killer is on the loose, one I know I can track down myself and take him to justice. Real justice. This will cross a line, a line that every cop knows can’t be crossed.

By the time I realize the killer is on the inside, a cop working within the system himself. It’s far too late.

But then I reassure myself: The cops, my colleagues, friends, don’t know who I really am.

They don’t know what I’m capable of…

For fans of Jeffery Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme series and Stieg Larsson's The Girl Who... books, “Killing Time” merges the forensic intrigue of crime-solving with the high stakes of justice at any cost. This novel will appeal to readers who thrive on the edge-of-their-seat roller coasters, offering a unique blend of technological thriller and crime fiction reminiscent of the gripping narratives by Gillian Flynn and Patricia Cornwell.

Praise for this book

Rebekah Riga is one of the most dynamic characters I've had the pleasure of reading in the thriller genre. Robian Elbar's novel, part of an ongoing series, is in the tradition of mystery thrillers going all the way back to pulp fiction. Elbar has a fine sense of contemporary timing with attention to little details that makes this such a joy to read. The back and forth banter between Rebekah and Rita is priceless. Both women have been done wrong by the same man and they are determined to find out what happened to the jerk--even if it kills them. Great page-turner. Bravo!
